Hannah’s senior photo session took place in Portland, Maine on a fabulously sunny evening. We started at the Broadway Gardens Greenhouse where that delicious sunset glow bounced around us and popped the colors of the blooms for Hannah. She literally glowed. GLOWED. Capitalizing on some of the amazing blooms at the greenhouses, we wandered through the flowers until it was time to move on.

This Disney-aholic was such a natural in front of the camera, but her winning smile came second to the things that excite her in life! Inspired by courageous women, Hannah loves keeping up with fashion, traveling, and striving to embody some of that courageous feminine power in her own life.

I love that her senior portraits captured some of these moments. Dainty accessories and three, classic looks–we broke out look 2&3 once we got to Kettle Cove, where we finished up just outside of Cape Elizabeth. A crazy windy evening on the beach was the perfect setting for some artsy shots before tossing on a sweater for some cozier portraits as the sun went down. Hannah was a rockstar, obviously, and I may or may not be obsessed with how these photos turned out.

So here’s to the windswept beauty in all of us. And here’s to senior year.

From the granite coastline of Maine to the sunny beaches in San Diego, oceanside locations are some of my favorite for senior portraits. The colors blend so seamlessly together and who doesn’t love a golden sunset?

If a beach is what you’re looking for, I’ll meet you there! My camera is already packed. 😉 To schedule a session, just visit this link and fill out the form that best matches what you need.

The words I hear whenever I see these images are the final sigh Mitch gave Steph as he completed his vows to her. Between shaky breaths he said, “Oh Stephie, I love you more than words can say.” And sometimes it’s as simple as that.

This wedding venue offered a blank slate–white walls, simple chandeliers, large windows, and tall ceilings meant that Diana could design anything in that space. Keeping in line with L&J’s desire for simple, natural elements, they opted for white roses and peonies nestled into an abundance of greenery. For the ceremony, they chose simple cross-back chairs to mimic the wooden ladders of the apple orchard they faced and keep the entire affair organic and true to the location.

Autumn weddings are incredible on their own, but add a healthy dose of fall foliage and my al fresco dreams came true at this blush-inspired wedding day.
