Dustin & Jadeyn were planning for a simple and relaxed day. So many life milestones for these two–their first house, their first puppy…it was natural that the wedding involve both.

We started the day at Dustin & Jadeyn’s new house, where natural light streamed through endless windows and the laughter of Jadeyn’s friends was heard between sips of champagne and childhood stories between sisters and cousins.

The laughter carried to Jadeyn’s childhood home where the rest of the wedding was held. The beautiful front lawn homed the ceremony, tent, and the portrait session for the day. A soft breeze lent a coolness to the unseasonably warm sun. The most memorable moment, however, would definitely be the groom’s rendition of the worm–complete with a missing wedding band in the aftermath. No worries, though, as everyone went on a scavenger hunt to uncover the day’s band before breaking into the most energetic dancing I have ever seen.

So if you’re looking for a blush peach and navy wedding to fit your backyard wedding dreams, you’ve come to the right place.

With roots in Aroostook County, I love photographing weddings in this rural part of the state. From Houlton to Presque Isle to Fort Kent and even into the southern reaches, Maine weddings are near and dear to my heart and my family.

If you’re searching for a wedding photographer or videographer for an intimate, but sophisticated day, I’d love to connect with you to see if we’d be a good fit. Simply reach out to inquire about your date.

The words I hear whenever I see these images are the final sigh Mitch gave Steph as he completed his vows to her. Between shaky breaths he said, “Oh Stephie, I love you more than words can say.” And sometimes it’s as simple as that.

This wedding venue offered a blank slate–white walls, simple chandeliers, large windows, and tall ceilings meant that Diana could design anything in that space. Keeping in line with L&J’s desire for simple, natural elements, they opted for white roses and peonies nestled into an abundance of greenery. For the ceremony, they chose simple cross-back chairs to mimic the wooden ladders of the apple orchard they faced and keep the entire affair organic and true to the location.

Autumn weddings are incredible on their own, but add a healthy dose of fall foliage and my al fresco dreams came true at this blush-inspired wedding day.
