My name is Kay, and I am the owner of Blossom & Pine Media. I love boho fashion, a good cup of homemade hot chocolate, the beautiful state of Maine, and adventures!
My grandfather gifted me my first digital camera when I was in 8th grade. It was a red Kodak and was pretty amazing for the year it came out (especially considering it was in the hands of a 13-year-old). Fast forward a few years, seeing the world from the other side of a camera didn’t stop.
I actually started this crazy, beautiful, amazing business after returning to the states from Europe, where I had been living and studying abroad. The experience of wandering through some amazing countries and interacting with so many beautiful cultures taught me so much about myself and the things I love. Obviously, my camera tagged along! As I photographed amazing landscapes, beautiful architecture and jaw-dropping sunsets, I realized that something was missing in all of these amazing images. People. And this is when I fell in love with portraiture.
The emotion and genuine beauty that I get to share with my clients during weddings, engagement sessions, family reunions, surprise proposals… it’s amazing. And worth every second.
