Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor, Maine

A beautiful August day on the rugged coast of Maine was the adventure wedding plan for Alycia & Pete who invited some of their closest friends and family to witness the love birds’ promise to each other in the beautiful Acadia National Park.

While an unexpected storm may have interrupted portraits, a quick sprint to Oli’s Trolly and all was well in the world. We ventured through the park, rainy trolly windows framing the sudden rise and fall of the mountainous Acadia landscape. Weaving through canopied roads, we eventually stopped along the Ocean Path for a ceremony overlooking Otter Point.

The sky began to clear and through patches of sun and cloud, Alycia made her way across the granite shore to Pete, who, I’m fairly certain, was smiling the entire day.

When Jason asked who gave Alycia away, the crowd answered, “We do”—a beautiful reminder of the love and support coming alongside Mr. & Mrs. Siner as they stepped into a new chapter together as husband and wife.

From carefully made name cards, tables dubbed after famous Acadia hikes, and even a visit from a particularly special golden retriever, Alycia & Pete’s outdoor reception, nestled at the base of the Stonehouse, was sentimental, energetic, and full of lots of amazing dancing.
