FAQ


For wedding collections, final galleries and videos are published within 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. For portrait collections, final galleries are published within 2-3 weeks.

+ How many hours of coverage do we need?

This entirely depends on your day! We always strive to offer relaxed coverage that focuses on connection–connection between the two of you and connection with your guests. For this reason, we typically recommend a 9 hour day.

+ Do you offer mini sessions?

Yes and no! Mini sessions are only offered the day before a destination weddings as a perk for our couple’s guests. Guests can sign up for a mini session spot independently if they would like updated portraits in a new location.

+ Where do you travel?

While being a Maine wedding photographer & videographer, my team and I do travel throughout the year to photograph destination weddings. This year photography will take us to Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, New Hampshire, Paris, Massachusetts, and Maine. Portraits that line up with travel dates are encouraged!

+ How long have you been doing photography?

While having photographed portraits, landscapes, and events since 2008, I’ve been photographing weddings since 2018. We normally cap our schedule at 15 weddings per year.

+ Do you edit every image?

Yes! We’re surprised by how often we are asked this! Every usable (eyes open, natural expressions, etc.) is editied for a cohesive gallery. Portraits are lightly and naturally retouched when necessary.

+ Do you offer partial coverage?

We are passionate about wedding days and confident in the experience we deliver to clients! Since this experience is limited by partial coverage, we do not offer limited days. We do, however, cover micro weddings and elopements.

+ How much are wedding collections?

Wedding collections are custom-designed per couple. They begin at $2000 for elopements and $5000 for traditional days while most couples invest an average of $6000-$8000 for comprehensive coverage of their day.

+ What is your style?

We focus on beautiful light, soft tones, and creamy pastels. Natural and true to scene are cornerstones. We love filmic images and romantic, natural poses. True to color and light, our work is timeless and consistent.

+ Do you offer second shooters?

Yes! Almost every wedding day includes a second shooter. If we are also offering comprehensive videography, we typically have a team of three. Second shooters are amazing additions to the day and help create a relaxed, breathable schedule.

+ How do we reserve a date?

Every proposal is uniquely tailored to you. To do this, we need to go over your details, then we’ll work out the specifics of what you need for your day in order to customize your investment. Once you sign your contract and submit your date retainer, your date will officially be on the books. We typically book 12-15 months ahead and close our calendar three months out.

+ How are our images delivered?

Images are uploaded in a secure, online gallery. You’ll be able to directly download your images in high-resolution format to any device. Prints can be ordered right from your gallery or from another lab of your choice. We believe image quality is important, so you don’t need to worry about watermarks or paying per image. Your collection includes all of them.

+ Can we share our images?

Yes! Each collection comes with a print release waiver for you, which means you can print and share the images to your heart’s content.

+ Do we need a wedding planner?

Not to work with us, no, but we HIGHLY recommend investing in a stellar planner. It really does make an incredible difference. We do charge an small, additional fee for weddings without planners as we assume the timeline responsibilites of that job as well.
