October in Maine is nothing short of magical. The foliage of New England is exquisite, but this year, most of Maine was suffering from extreme drought. Due to this, most foliage disappeared in a matter of days. Acadia National Park, however, held onto its magic especially for Brittany & Brandon.

From preparations in Bar Harbor to a seaside ceremony in the park, the day was brilliant. Originally aiming for the dramatic drops of Otter Cliffs, we settled for the gentle, sloping back drop of Otter Point, just around the corner. Personal vows, a wine box ceremony, and the closest of friends made this elopement-turned-micro-wedding full of laughter and sunny smiles on the rocky shoreline, onboard the trolly, and eventually at the summit of Cadillac Mountain.

While I cherish all of my couples and get to spend a lot of time learning their style & rhythm before a wedding day, very rarely do I meet couples that immediately feel like friends. Brittany & Brandon are one of the exceptions. Brandon & Brittany’s enthusiasm for life and energetic love for each other was so easy to immediately connect with. Adventurers at heart, their Hallmark movie romance should really be outlined by Nicholas Sparks. Between stormy nights, COVID quarantine, and fabric shopping, somehow they wound up here on the beautiful coast of Maine, saying “I do” to forever together.

These beautiful humans deserve all the happy days, sunshine, and puppy snuggles imaginable and I am so thankful and honored to have been included in their day. I’m continually encouraged by their love and passion for each other.
